Canterbury Stars Return (2008)

6th Variety & Visual Arts Show

Canterbury Grad Penelope Corrin and guests presented an amazing show on Feb 9, 2008 at Canterbury High School, raising about $12,000 for the school!

Penelope — at the time was one of the stars of Air Farce Live on CBC-TV — was joined by perennial MCs Martin Gero and Kurt Smeaton, and a stunning lineup of talent including singer Rob Torr, aerial gymnast Tyler Burke, ballroom dancer Bianca Howell, celtic fiddler and singer Sarah Burnell, not to mention Cirque de Soleil clown Mooky (and her able volunteer assistant from the audience!)

Thanks to all the scores of volunteers and entertainers who made this happen, especially director Jim McNabb, producers Judy Kirsh and Rachel Collins, and the Stars Return Organizing Committee.
