In the past, CACDA has provided monies to offset the cost of auditions, bursaries for Arts students with financial needs, monies for dance accompanists, stage curtains, speakers and a sound system for the auditorium, a portable dance floor for dance performances, art books for the school library, and more. The past six years have seen a lot of changes, both financial and curricular.
As funding for the Arts program has decreased, CACDA has been on to help support the program in more substantial ways than before.
Here's a sample of some of CACDA's projects undertaken to advance education to students enrolled in visual and performing arts programs at Canterbury High School:
CACDA has advanced education to students enrolled in visual and performing arts programs at Canterbury High School by providing instructional seminars on topics related to the performing and visual arts.
Over the years, CACDA has advanced the public's appreciation of the arts by providing high-quality artistic performances by students and high quality guest performances through the arts program at Canterbury High School.
